PullUpMachine 2 — Open Beta

PullUpMachine generates wheel-up / rewind / pull-up effects by modulating playback speed of a continuously recorded audio buffer.

Insert on a channel, trigger, and the plugin drives buffer playback using a speed envelope (1.0× = forward, −1.0× = reverse).

How It Works

The plugin continuously records incoming audio into a rolling buffer. A triggered envelope modulates playback speed over time, producing a variety of interesting sonic possibilities.

Parameters

Trigger
Starts the speed envelope (initiates the effect).

Attack Time / Decay Time
Duration of the acceleration and return phases, in bars.
Tip: You can enter values like `1/4` for musical divisions.

Attack Power / Decay Power
Envelope curvature (linear → exponential response).

Start Speed
Playback speed at trigger start.

Peak Speed
Maximum speed reached before decaying toward 0.

Reverse
Inverts the envelope direction.

Buffer Length
Length of the rolling record buffer (in bars).

Gain
Output gain applied during the effect.

Interpolation
Playback resampling quality.
Best = highest fidelity, higher CPU.
Lower modes = more artifacts, lower CPU.

Configuration & Customization

Presets
User presets can be created and saved through the gui.
Default preset location:
“Documents/PotenzaDSP Presets”

Interface Customization

– Select between Retro and Modern themes in the Settings menu
– Change the vinyl platter image
– Adjust the GUI accent color

Configuration Files
The plugin stores its configuration data at:

– macOS:
“/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/PotenzaDSP/PullUpMachine”
– Windows:
“C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\PotenzaDSP\PullUpMachine”
– Linux:
“~/.config/PotenzaDSP/PullUpMachine”

System Requirements

– Plugin Formats: VST3, AU
– macOS: Universal binary, 10.13 (High Sierra) or newer
– Windows: Windows 10 or newer
– Linux: Native build available (tested on Ubuntu)
